(POSO TRAGEDY CHRONOLOGY 1998-2000)

Bloody tragedy in Poso, Central Sulawesi, take a lot of casualties from children to the elderly. Do you know what the main cause of the tragedy? The main cause of the tragedy there are two first is religion and the second is the division of power. This tragedy started in 1998 and ended in 2000. According to the plan, the government will send Minister of Social Affairs (Minister) and Minister for Public Works in order to see the social and economic conditions in Poso. In fact, the central government will release funds for this support. "We will provide sufficient funds to fuel our economy so that young people can work," said the Vice President. In this regard, Ministry of Social Affairs has set aside Rp18 billion for the rehabilitation program of social conflict in Poso. The funds will be used for the construction of environmental infrastructure and economic empowerment.
